Chesterville, WA - Human Resource Manager, Don Thomas, always looks forward to "Casual Friday". "It's the one day I can really let loose!" said Don as he leaned back in his office chair, wearing ripped jean shorts, a sleeveless flannel shirt (unbuttoned), and no shoes or socks.

"Personally it offends me and I wish he would stop." said Kaycia Parker, Receptionist at Davidson & Baker. "Unfortunately, Don is in charge of updating the Employee Handbook and I seriously doubt he'll change the dress code requirements."

On numerous occasion Don has come in wearing only his boxers and a greasy Hooters t-shirt. Fortunately, the women in the office convinced him the outfit was offensive. Now he's back to the ripped shorts and flannel shirt ensemble. "He seems to like to push the envelope. Each week he wears less clothes than the week before. He's like the Madonna of the Human Resource World." said Joanne Sparks, Senior Manager.

Don responded by saying, "Casual Friday is the one day where we, as workers, can be ourselves. It's when the comfortable and relaxing world of home meets, briefly, with the starched world of work. If they take away Casual Friday what will be next? No more lunch breaks? No more pay? If they try, you tell them the Human Resource Manager says NO WAY, NOT TODAY!"
