Toby Clark's Atari Pong was later found on eBay for $500 with "(Reserve Not Yet Met)".

Man Still Thinks Pong is "Best Game Ever!"

Chesterville, WA - While playing a head-to-head match of Jedi Death Match on a brand new dual Pentium IV Xeon processon PC with 1gig of SDRAM, Toby Clark revealed, "This is pretty cool.... But Pong is still the best video game. I mean, what more do you need, but two paddles and a slow moving ball?"

Soon afterwards Toby admitted still owning a mint condition Atari Pong game, with manual. "One of the knobs is a little sticky but I can still sit and play that thing for hours. These new games are all about blood and explosions, that gets boring after a while. But Pong gets to the roots and the basics of true game playing. You know?"

When asked if any modern games compare to the excitement of Pong, Toby replied "Not really. I mean, not since Asteroids. Now that was fun! I'm thinking about picking up one of the old arcade versions."

Since our interview with Toby an incredible Retro Movement has taken over the gaming industry. Video games from the 70's and 80's have become hot commodities and are now "cool" again. We decided to recontact Toby and get his opinion on this movement. "Pong? Naaa I got rid of that old thing! Now Chess, that's a game!" When asked if his attitude change had anything to do with the new focus and attention on games like Pong and Asteroids, Toby failed to respond and ended our interview.
