ABOUT :: CURRENT PROJECTS

Family on Motorcycle
Motorcycles are the transportation of choice in Thailand. Unfortunately, helmets are not the accessory of choice.

Please visit www.isara.com . There you will find all the charity projects we are currently working on. Thank you.

Helmets for Students: Too many students are dying because of no safety education and because police do not enforce the helmet law. (Schools requested police NOT give tickets to students. Sad, but true.) The answer is easy; Education and wear a helmet.

Along with convincing schools and the Chief of Police to educate the students and begin giving tickets, PK has begun a campaign to raise funds to buy helmets for students.

Helmets ONLY cost $3.25 each. That's right! The goal is to buy 1,000 helmets and donate them ASAP. If you are interested please visit the Helmets for Students webpage or the donation info below.

What is special about this project is that once you get Thai people to start caring about the value of life, other things will follow. They will start caring about education, they will start caring about their health, they will start caring about their environment. This project will have a domino effect.

ETA: June, 2005
As of April, 2006 we have donated almost 750 helmets.

Freedom Video
PK, in classic Spielberg stance,visits a local school with his DVX100 camera.

Freedom Video: Currently producing a 1 hour educational video which will be donated to every school (5,000+) in Thailand via a promotional campaign to help boost the quality of education.

The cost of living is cheap here, so very GOOD things can be done with very little money. Unfortunately, many foreigners come to Thailand to do very BAD things with very little money.

Thailand is known for its sex tourism, wide-spread corruption, and high alcoholism rate (#5 out of 193 countries). Most problems can be ratified by educating the students and teachers. They control the future of any society. Education is the answer. Education will provide more opportunities.

This video will provide answers in a fun and interesting way.

ETA: Postponed

You Can Help: Each donation goes directly to Isara and any project you want to contribute to. A LOT of good can be done with very little money.
