PROJECT :: HELMETS FOR STUDENTS

Family on Motorcycle
Most Thai people can only afford motorcycles. Usually only one per family.

Thai Helmet

$3.25 can save a life!

Motorcycles at School

Parking lot behind school.

Helmets for Students: Too many Thai students are dying because of no safety education and because police do not enforce the helmet law. (Schools "told" police NOT to give tickets to students.) Motorcycles rule the roads and the roads have no rules. The answer is easy; Education and wear helmets.

Along with convincing the Education Department and the Chief of Police to help educate students and begin giving tickets, I have begun a campaign to raise funds to buy helmets for students.

Helmets ONLY cost $3.25 each. That's all. And 100% of every donation buys helmets!

Total Helmets: 734 (as of April 12th, 2006)

300 Helmets were donated on July 27th at 3 different schools. 200 more will be donated on Aug. 23rd/24th.

View Photos & Videos Here!

You Can Help: Support this important project by making a Donation using PayPal or sending a check/money order. 100% of every $1 goes directly to a helmet. A LOT of good can be done with very little money.

Update: Nearly 700 helmets have been donated to students since this project begun. Visit www.isara.com for more information.

Thank you and please forward to friends, family, or place of employment.
